Our Company History

Zip Courier is part of the Blue Heron Courier Group

Blue Heron was originally established in 2004 to fill the need for a local courier services in the Delta, B.C. area.

We launched Zip Courier in 2008 in response to a growing demand for more services and a larger coverage area.

Since then we have grown steadily and currently provide the following services:

• Local Same Day Messenger, including Regular, Rush, Hot and Super Hot services.
• Local Overnight Courier.
• Local dry & refrigerated trucking.
• Dedicated delivery services.
• Warehousing
• Cooler services
• Charter Services
• Hot Shot Service within British Columbia, Alberta and Washington State.
• Event services
• Last mile delivery
• Warehousing

Our fleet at present consists of approximately 40 courier vehicles including hatchback cars, SUV’s, minivans and cargo vans as well as approximately 12 3 ton and 5 ton refrigerated trucks, all of our large trucks are equipped with tailgates, and pallets jacks, most are equipped with power pallet jacks.

We are centrally located in the Annacis Island Business Industrial Park in Delta, B.C. We occupy approximately 20,000 square feet of office/ warehouse space and 1500 square feet of cooler space.
